Tellen.Punch: Punching technology for end-to-end production processes
Punching systems
Custom-designed solutions for the precise and flexible processing of sheet metal and profiles – engineered for continuous operation and automated process chains.
We develop and build punching systems for applications where standard solutions reach their limits. Our systems enable precise and flexible processing of sheet metal and profiles, tailored to component geometry, material flow, and production requirements.
Designed for continuous throughput, they integrate seamlessly into automated and interconnected production lines. Even long sheets exceeding 3 metres, as well as a wide variety of blanks and punching patterns down to batch size 1, can be processed efficiently and flexibly.
Servo-controlled positioning systems ensure high speed and repeatability, while compatibility with thick-turret tooling provides maximum versatility. Complex contours and hole patterns can be produced through punching and nibbling operations, even with varying material thicknesses and without manual tool changes.
Sheet metal punching – turret
With turret punching systems, the sheet metal remains securely guided in the gripper throughout the entire machining process.
- Continuous gripping without the need for repositioning or re-clamping
- High repeatability through a constant reference point
- Precise positioning, even for complex contours
- Ideal for flexible production with varying punching patterns
Sheet metal punching – gantry
Gantry punching systems enable the processing of large sheet metal formats while maintaining a high degree of flexibility.
- Processing of strip widths from 1,500 mm and above
- Servo-controlled positioning of tool slides and punching cylinders
- Flexible adaptation to different component formats
- Designed for large sheet metal
Punching of profiles
For pre-bent profiles, punching operations are performed after the bending process, offering significant advantages in terms of dimensional accuracy and functionality.
- Punching and embossing directly on the finished profile
- Higher dimensional accuracy, as warping caused by subsequent bending is eliminated
- Precise positioning of hole patterns and functional features
- Ideal for door frames, structural components, and complex profile geometries
